The determination of extraneous materials in biscuits

Abstract: A method is described for examining biscuits, with and without chocolate couverture, for the presence of extraneous materials such as rodent and other animal hairs, insect fragments and mould spores. The application of this method to the problem of " good housekeeping " in this type of food manufacture is briefly discussed.
