Abstract:This article uses the partial least square algorithm and the improved differential evolution algorithm to preprocess the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectral data and build a model for detection of cholesterol concentration in human serum. The result indicates that the wavelet decomposition and the partial least square algorithm can effectively reduce the multiple correlation coefficients. The absorption spectrum is investigated by different basis functions with various pre-processed spectra, and produces t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
