Abstract:Mosquitoes Culex sp. is the main vector of filariasis. Population control using chemical larvicides continuously can cause resistance. The leaves of the pletekan plant (Ruellia tuberosa L.) and lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia) have the potential as natural larvicides.
