“…Olayinka et al (2011) observed that planting of vegetable samples caused a change in the soil-heavy metal in soilsand that plant uptake and accumulation is dependenton plant type. Ezeh et al (2007) also observed that tubers have higher tendency of Cu and Zn absorption transfer hence the circulation of these metals in the biosphere in the Enyigba. Chojnacka et al (2004) opined in his work that only bioavailable elements were transferred to plants using citrate solution extractant; and that the statistical value of the element content extracted with ammonium citrate in soil was equal to that absorbed by the selected plants used for investigation.…”
