The diversity of isofrequency surface topologies in a hypercrystal composed of ferrite- and semiconductor-based metamaterials
Illia Fedorin
Abstract:Recent studies have centered on the potential for effectively controlling the topology state of iso-frequency surfaces in artificial photonic structures using external fields. This paper delves into the topological transitions and singularity states of the isofrequency surface of a highly anisotropic superlattice. This superlattice is composed of alternating layers of ferrite-dielectric and semiconductor-dielectric metamaterials. The superlattice is placed in an external magnetic field in the Voigt geometry th… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
