Abstract:A double-spiral surface plasmon polariton (SPP) antenna is designed to produce a long-microwave plasma jet at atmospheric pressure with low power. This new structure antenna is made by an outer-tube spiral copper wire and an inner copper wire. To explore the influence of the new structure SPP exciter, many experiments are carried out in which the longest plasma jet of 13.5 cm is produced at atmospheric pressure with a power of 50 W. From the results of experiments, theoretical analysis, and field simulation by… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
