The Drosophila ARC homolog regulates behavioral responses to starvation

Abstract: The gene encoding dARC1, one of three Drosophila homologs of mammalian activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein (ARC), is upregulated in both seizure and muscular hypercontraction mutants.
