OBJECTIVE. We studied the psychometric properties of the dynamic version of the Lowenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (DLOTCA) and examined the most frequent level of mediation used for planning for intervention.METHOD. Participants included 83 clients hospitalized after first stroke (mean age 5 57.7, standard deviation 5 8.33) and 45 healthy control participants. All were assessed with the DLOTCA after providing informed consent. RESULTS.Interrater reliability showed high correlations between all pairs of raters. Internal consistency reliability showed moderate to high as (.602-.813) for all domains except Visual Perception. We found significant differences between the groups of participants before mediation; both benefited from mediation, showing moderate to high effect sizes. Stroke clients needed higher levels of mediation.CONCLUSION. The DLOTCA is effective in providing insight into whether participants need mediation and the level and type of assistance they require. The DLOTCA provides guidance for planning intervention for people with cognitive disabilities.

OBJECTIVES. Our objectives were (1) to compare the differential effects of cultural and sociodemographic variables on the cognitive performance of Israeli and Palestinian children, (2) to examine validity of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (LOTCA) for kindergarten children, and (3) to determine the feasibility of using the LOTCA as a screening tool for assessing Palestinian children’s cognitive abilities. METHOD. Participants were 101 Jewish Israeli and 125 Muslim Palestinian children, ranging in grade from kindergarten to second grade. RESULTS. Israeli children achieved significantly higher scores than the Palestinian children on most LOTCA domains. We obtained significant Grade × Cultural Group interaction effects (F[10, 364] = 1.73, p < .001, effect size [ES] − η2 = .045) and also found a significant Cultural Group × Mother's Education interaction (F[5, 184] = 2.49, p < .05, ES − η2 = .064). CONCLUSION. Cultural and sociodemographic variables appear to affect cognitive performance. The LOTCA revealed cognitive differences between the cultural groups and school grades and may thus constitute an appropriate evaluation tool focusing on children’s school grade promotion.

Abstract-Since entrepreneurship has become the biggest issue in many countries, Universities robustly introduce entrepreneurship skill not only for the business school students, but other majors as well. Universities have developed a real-life project of starting-up a business project in a determined period of time. Objective of this project is designed to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. This paper concisely highlights the issues faced by students doing entrepreneurship project in these fields i.e., production, management, finance, marketing, and technology. A quantitative survey method was chosen to explore the issues appropriately in Indonesia to increase the number of entrepreneurs which is currently 1.5% from the total population of Indonesia. This research conducted in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek -Indonesia) with a total of 280 respondents as sample. This paper is expected to further give field-tested recommendations for university authorities to give a better guidance of entrepreneurial projects for the students.
