“…There was a strong reduction of sebum all over the face; however, about an hour after the end of the treatment, this measurement began to return to the baseline. One hour after treatment, hydration started to gradually fall [16].…”

“…Thirty minutes after treatment on the cheeks and immediately after on the T-zone, significant differences in stratum corneum hydration have been observed. The reduction of sebum secretion level was observed immediately after the treatment [ 23 ].…”

“…Corneometry (objective instrumental): corneometry analysis was carried out to determine the cutaneous hydration index (Corneometer M820, Courage Khazaka Electronics GmbH, Cologne, Germany). The corneometer measured the stratum corneum hydration by electrical capacitance of the skin (hydration values) 15 . For each patient, hydration was measured at four points (forehead, chin, and left and right cheeks) and measurements were averaged.…”

“…Sebumetry (objective instrumental): sebumetry analysis was carried out to determine sebum production (Sebumeter SM815, Courage Khazaka). the sebumeter determined the sebum index by photometric correlation of surface light reflectance (µg/cm 2 ) 15 . For each patient sebum was measured at four points (forehead, chin, and left and right cheeks) and measurements were averaged.…”
