The Ecological Farms - A Solution for Sustainable Agriculture

Abstract

The work comprises some theoretical considerations concerning ecofarms, viewed as productive systems able to rely on sustainability. It is described the ecofarm concept as an agroforest system, where the agricultural field has a complex and diverse structure in order to turn to account the wastes products to the profit of the soil. We also present the principles and rules on which the functioning of the ecological farm is based and which must be taken into account in order to obtain ecological products.
