The eff ect of time reducing of train-to-train margin on the technical and energy indicators of the system of traction unregulated and regulated power supply

Abstract

The article considers the effect of reducing the time of train-to-train margin on the specific consumption of electric energy and the voltage level on the currentcollecting gear of an electric locomotive. Simulation of the operation of the DC 3.0 kV traction power supply system is carried out in the KORTES software package. The section of the Sverdlovsk railway with an operating system of contactless automatic voltage control was taken for the study. The article defines the rational time of the train-to-train margin for an unregulated and regulated system of traction power supply. The energy efficiency of the system of contactless automatic voltage control was evaluated.
