The effect of a lack of uncapped brood on social interactions between honey bee workers and the queen

Abstract: Vibro-acoustic communication is used by honey bees in many different social contexts. Our previous research showed that workers interact with their queen outside of the swarming period by means of wing-beating behaviour.
