The effect of adding lactic acid to canine whole blood on platelet aggregation as measured by impedance aggregometry

Abstract: Impedance aggregometry is a diagnostic method for the evaluation of platelet aggregation that can be performed on whole blood samples, and the Multiplate (Roche Holding AG) analyzer is an instrument that has been developed using this technology. 1 With this instrument, whole blood is added to a test cell along with a platelet agonist.
