The effect of aging temperature and aging duration on the dry sliding wear behavior of Ti6Al4V alloy

Abstract: In this study, Ti6Al4V (Grade 5) alloys were first dissoluted at 850?C for 120 min. and then were aged at 250?C, 350?C, 450?C, 550?C, 650?C and 750?C respectively. After each aging duration (by looking at hardness ratios aged between 9 to 54 hours), the hardness of the samples was measured.
