Abstract:The effect of the peritoneal lavage with antibiotics on the postoperative intraal,dominal adhesion formation was investigated as compared to the other washing solutions (Ringer's Lactate, Saline) and control group. The study was done on total 40 adult female rats. It was found out that the group irrigated by antibiotic solutions has a higher average adhesion formation and more peritoneal reaction as compared to the other groups.(Key Words: Brid, Complication, Postoperative)
