Practical implications -Helping future researchers to conduct analysis related to the evaluation of zakat distribution policies. This research can help other researchers to understand the relationship between welfare and social care for mustahiq.Originality/value -This paper seems to relate social concern to the implications of an influence of the zakat program, especially the Makmur Bengkulu program on the welfare of mustahiq.
