Abstract: The assembly of colloidal hyaluronic acid (HyA, as a polysaccharide) based hydrogel particles in an aqueous medium is characterized in the present paper, with an emphasis on the particular case of nanohydrogels formed by surfactant-neutralized polysaccharide networks.
