The effect of COVID-19 lockdown on glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Turkey

Abstract: Background and aims A national lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Turkey was introduced in March 2020. We think that lockdowns may lead to weight gain and worsening of glycemic parameters in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM).
