The Effect of Dexamethasone in Tramadol Induced Nausea and Vomiting

Abstract: We aimed to investigate the efficacy of a single dose bolus of dexamethasone on tramadol induced nausea and vomiting in our study. After 2, 4, 6, 12 and 24 hours. Although the incidence of nausea and vomiting, and pain scores at 2 and 4 hours were not statistically significant, they were lower in Gorup D compared to Group K (p>0.05). 14 patients in Group K required additional antiemetics and 12 patients in Group D required additional antiemetics (p>0.05
