Abstract:Background: Labisia pumila (LP) a Malaysian herb thought to have phytoestrogenic effects in rats with PCOS. In this study we investigate the effects of LP aqueous extracts on bone composition, bone biomarkers and metabolic disorder in female rats fed continuously with high fat diet to induce PCOS.
