The Effect of Endhorpin Massage and Physical Activity on Reducing Back Pain Intensity of Pregnant Women

Abstract: Back pain problems that occur in pregnant women are often the causes of other new problems. Early treatment through endorphin massage and regular physical activity is an alternative solution to deal with this problem. This study aims to determine how the effect of endorphin massage and physical activity is on reducing the intensity of back pain for pregnant women in the working area of the Lubuk Alung Health Center. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design (design type one group pretest-post test) … Show more

“…Meanwhile, biomechanical principles such as kinematic and kinetic asymmetries, as well as step timing, can enhance performance and reduce injury risk (Dos 'Santos et al, 2021;Jamaludin et al, 2020;Quittmann et al, 2020). The application of biomechanical analysis and inverse dynamics in specific sports contexts can evaluate ground reaction forces and kinematics during physical activities (Briley et al, 2020;Mancha-Triguero et al, 2020;Pimentel et al, 2020;Maidawilis et al, 2022).…”

“…However, the provision of additional physical activity programs is still needed to keep students from staying too often in the school or family environment. Physical Education (PE) aims to convey the joy of exercise and thereby educate students about lifelong physical activity [24][25], although physical activity programs outside of school physical education also need to be burdened on students [26][27]. However, further research is needed so that the results obtained will be more interesting to discuss in the next issues and topics, especially in relation to the character of students in urban and rural areas.…”
