Abstract:Background and Aims: Goals of therapy for patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and compensated advanced chronic liver disease (cACLD) include weight loss and reduction of the portosystemic pressure gradient (PPG) to decrease the risk of hepatic decompensation.
