In this study, making positive contributions to the performance of the employees; The concepts of social courage, job satisfaction, and work engagement were examined. The main purpose of this study was to reveal the mediating effect of work engagement in the effect of employees' social courage behaviors on job satisfaction. In this study, which is based on a quantitative research method, the data were collected by questionnaire method. The employees of a municipality located within the borders of Adıyaman province constitute the research universe. Questionnaires collected through face-to-face interviews were analyzed with the help of statistical programs. Data were collected from 365 participants. It has been determined that work engagement has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between social courage and job satisfaction. As a result of the statistical analysis, it was determined that the relationship between social courage and job satisfaction was partially mediated by work engagement.
