Abstract:Fluoroquinolones are a commonly prescribed class of medications for pneumonia. In the last decade, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued warnings including tendinitis, clostridium difficile infection, aortic aneurysms and hypoglycemia in elderly patients.
