“…The overall comparison of the main comet parameters revealed the presence of significantly higher levels of DNA damage in the cells of four zooplankton species collected in the polluted Lake Parameters of the alkaline comet assay were evaluated on 100 comets per sample. Statistical evaluation was made using Student's t test for independent samples *p<0.05, significantly increased as compared to sample N 2 ; **p<0.05, significantly increased as compared to sample N 1 Traore et al 1999;Musibono and Day 1999;Fleeger et al 2007).
