Abstract:Due to effects of moisture transfer, the hygrothermal bridge could be developed at building corners, and increase the thermal conductivity of building materials. Three different types of roof-wall corners (ring beam, double beam column and shear wall structure) were studied. When considering moisture transfer, effects of different air states, structural types and wall materials on the thermal performance of the hygrothermal bridge were evaluated and heat losses of the structure were compared. Given the periodi… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
