The Effect of Prosthetic Ankle Dorsiflexion Stiffness on Standing Balance and Gait Biomechanics in Individuals with Unilateral Transtibial Amputation

Abstract: Introduction: Modular prosthetic ankle components have been shown to improve walking in transtibial prosthesis users, but they may reduce stability during standing.
