The effect of randomness on the critical behaviour of kinetic gelation

Abstract

The behaviour of a three-dimensional kinetic gelation model with regularly placed initiators is determined from Monte Carlo simulations. We find marked differences with the behaviour observed when initiators are placed on the lattice randomly. We also look at the effect of introducing repulsion between initiators.
