The Effect of the Treatment Time in Diluted Water on the Superconducting Properties of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="TeX">$\hbox{MgB}_{2}$</tex-math></inline-formula>
Abstract:MgB 2 powders were treated for different amount of time in diluted water (water-ethanol mixture) with two different water-to-ethanol ratios of 12 : 18 and 6 : 24 to investigate the effect of diluted water-treatment on the superconducting properties of MgB 2 . The diluted water-treatment did not affect the phase composition of the powder. The magnetic moment measurement of both untreated and treated MgB 2 powders showed the degradation of irreversible magnetic moment of the powders as the treatment time increas… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
