“…This research is widely supported by similar past research on the significant effects of various important training that support the growth of experience, increase self-efficacy and provide psychological capital in teaching so that the quality of learning can be improved (Esfandagheh et al, 2012;Graham et al, 2020;Guasch et al, 2010). Other similar studies also confirm that during the transition period where there has been a decline in previous competencies, it is necessary to retrain and provide teachers with more experience (Mislia et al, 2021;Saripudin et al, 2020). Self-efficacy and psychological capital are at the heart and core, that can be important mediators of teacher retraining and experience in achieving learning success (Abdullah & Osman, 2015;Chen et al, 2021;Rupp & Becker, 2021).…”

“…Various important aspects need to be seen to, to increase or restore self-efficacy and psychological capital. Various studies reveal the perceptions of teachers who need retraining to strengthen teaching competence (Alea et al, 2020;Mislia, Alim, Usuf, Tamsah,& Yusriadi, 2021;Prieto & Altmaier, 1994). In addition, teacher retraining is also perceived by vocational education teachers as an important step to raise confidence in solving problems or in completing teaching tasks that have shifted back to face-to-face learning (Delcker & Ifenthaler, 2021).…”

“…From this perspective, that is, if it does not measure what it should measure (validity), the sense of precision and objectivity provided by the numbers is meaningless, as are the comparisons made with the results. In this regard, Mislia et al (2021) point out that in the scales that are used there is no immutable or unique metric, therefore the comparison that tends to be made between teachers is risky; If professor "A" obtains a global average of 5.0 on the scale, professor "B", 2.5, and the faculty of professors an average of 3.5, it cannot be said that professor "A" is twice as effective as " B"; this reading is misleading because it is not possible to control all the variables that can confuse and bias the data obtained through the instrument.…”
