Abstract: Betel nut is one of the most common addictive substance. Not many studies have explored the potential of varenicline as cessation therapy. We studied the benefits of varenicline in reducing the reward effects in rat model. Forty male albino rats of wistar strain weighing 150-250grams were used in the present study.
