Abstract:The influence of the X‐ray irradiation on the crystal structure of TlInS2 C and 2C polytypes were studied by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction method. The scanning of the reciprocal space in the planes (0kl)*, (h0l)*, (hhl)* were carried out for initial and irradiated samples (absorbed doses are 0.9 and 2.9 kGy) in the temperature range 180–300 K. It was found that after irradiation, the incommensurate phase satellites q(−δ, 0, +0.25) and q(+δ, 0, −0.25) (δ = 0.04) were observed even at room temperature in the … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
