The effectiveness of allied health and emergency nurse practitioners’ managing musculoskeletal conditions in the emergency department: protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract:The primary aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to evaluate the effectiveness of emergency nurse practitioners and allied health practitioners managing musculoskeletal conditions in ED. This review will provide insight toward effective strategies for managing MSK conditions in ED, highlight evidence gaps and update recommendations toward these health services. The preprint outlines the research plan including our search strategy and statistical analysis for our study.
