The effectiveness of combination of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and compost ameliorant on sengon growth in former coal mine soil

Abstract: Mining activities give a negative impact to the soil which become the ex-coal mine soil. The soil has a solid soil structure and low nutrient content so is not suitable for planting. The problems need to be improved by being treated with biological agents from soil microorganisms such as Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF). The provision of AMF on ex-coal mine soil with the addition of ameliorant compost can be one strategy that can be used.
