Penelitian Research and Development ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan komik digital reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berbasis aplikasi android, yang layak dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Pengembangan komik digital ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis (analysis), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (development), tahap implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluate). Hasil penelitian ini adalah komik yang telah dikembangkan (1) valid, baik oleh ahli media validitas sebesar 3,91 dan ahli materi sebesar 3,65 yang berada pada kategori sangat valid, (2) praktis, berdasarkan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh persentase 96,29%. Angket respon guru, siswa kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar terhadap komik digital berturut-turut sebesar 88,5%, 86% dan 89% dengan kategori sangat praktis, 3) efektif, ditinjau dari ketuntasan kelas siswa kelompok kecil 83,3% dan siswa kelompok besar 86,5%. Berdasarkan data tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa komik digital pada reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berbasis aplikasi android yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
The research and development research aims to produce a proper digital comic in reduction and oxidation reaction based android application with valid, practical, and effective criteria. The development of this digital comic refers to the ADDIE development model which includes the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of this research are the comic that have been developed are: (1)valid, both by media proficient obtained validity of 3.91 and material proficient of 3.65 which are in the very valid category, (2) practical, based on the observation sheet on the implementation of learning obtained a percentage of 96.29%, the questionnaire responses of teachers, small group students and large groups to digital comics were 88.5%, 86% and 89% with very practical categories, 3) effective, in terms of class completeness of small group students 83.3% and 86.5% of large group students. Based on these data, it is concluded that the digital comic reduction and oxidation reaction based android application developed with the ADDIE model is proper for use in learning.
