This paper aims to conduct a review of the literature to map the factors that influence the professor's performance of graduate programs. The methodology consists of researching studies from 2008 to 2018 in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, using the keywords: performance, professor and graduate. The contributions of this study are: creation of a framework with the concept of professor’s performance addressing several authors and the creation of 8 categories. The results show factors that influence professor’s performance according to the mapped literature, categorized into pedagogical, scientific and didactic performance, teacher training, teaching method, pedagogical updating, health, knowledge management, students' perspective and scientific production, with 32% of studies related to research productivity standing out. This research contributes to highlight the work developed by professors and the factors presented help to develop strategies to facilitate the work of the professor and promote better performance.

The purpose of this paper is to present the factors that influence the professors' performance of postgraduate programs classified with notes 6 and 7 by Capes (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) in the areas of Engineering III in Brazil. Notes 6 and 7 indicate performance equivalent to the high international standard.Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire and data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS software, version 23, including independent T test by two groups (men and women), correlation studies and qualitative analysis. The results present a framework indicating the factors mapped in the literature combined with the factors that, in the perception of professors of postgraduate courses, influence professors' performance, as well as an explanatory chart that details all categories of factors identified. It is evident that scientific production is a factor that impacts the professors' performance, but personal profile and availability of resources interfere more significantly.

O objetivo desta dissertação é relacionar os fatores listados na literatura com a percepção dos docentes inseridos na pós-graduação com nota 6 e 7 da Capes, da área de engenharias III no Brasil. A metodologia é dividida em duas partes, sendo que uma trata do método para a construção da revisão de literatura e a outra apresenta o método para aplicação da pesquisa e análise dos dados. A revisão da literatura consiste na busca de estudos nas bases Scopus e Web of Science. A aplicação da pesquisa foi realizada por meio de questionário enviado para 235 professores, distribuídos em dez universidades: ITA (39 docentes), UFRJ (12 docentes), PUC/PR (12 docentes), UFSC (43 docentes), UFRGS (30 docentes), UFPE (13 docentes), UFRGS (16 docentes), PUC/RIO (18 docentes), UFU (27 docentes) e UFRJ (26 docentes). Foram obtidos 61 retornos, que correspondem a 25,96% dos questionários enviados. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio do software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS, versão 23, contemplando análise das frequências, teste t independente por meio de dois grupos (homens e mulheres), estudos de correlação e análise qualitativa. Os resultados mostraram que na percepção dos docentes, existem 98 fatores que influenciam no desempenho docente da pós-graduação. Esses fatores foram alocados em 24 categorias, sendo que seis destas categorias são similares com a literatura. Os fatores citados com maior incidência pelos docentes foram alocados nas categorias: perfil pessoal (27,9%), disponibilização de recursos (24,60%) e produção científica (14,8%).
