“…On the other hand, we are interested in researching the wellbeings of students (Ye and Ho, 2023) and the use of online courses and MOOCs under COVID-19 (Cheng et al ., 2023a, b; Cheng, 2022; Wang et al ., 2022c). We are also interested in using games and virtual reality to engage students in learning activities (Huang, 2023; Wu and Tu, 2023; Li and Liu, 2023; Liu et al ., 2023; Yu et al ., 2023; Zhang, 2022; Suen et al ., 2020).…”

“…A recent study evaluating Chinese students' writing skills using mobile learning unveiled varying learning outcomes regarding their writing skills (Liu, 2022). Although integrating pervasive animated games in a mobile learning environment was perceived to be compelling, other aspects of the instruction required revaluation (Huang, 2022). While there is enormous evidence on the acceptance and use of mobile technologies for learning (Chen and Chen, 2022;Sung and Chiu, 2022;Wai et al, 2018), some studies insist that technology acceptance, especially by teachers, is slow-paced and require more digital literacy training for effective implementation.…”
