The Effects of Formation Hardness, Abrasiveness, Heterogeneity and Hole Size on PDC Bit Performance

Abstract: Improvements in drilling efficiency and economics are continuously being achieved with PDC bits, specifically in medium-hard and non-abrasive formations - normal drilling.
