The Effects of ICT on Environment Quality: The Role of Green Technological Innovation in Asian Developing Countries

Abstract: To address the existing environmental challenges, the contributions of ICT and green technological innovation have gained considerable scholarly attention in recent decades. Therefore, this study investigates the effects of ICT penetration including green technological innovation on environmental quality in selected Asian developing countries, using data spanning the period 1990-2018. The long-run relationships among the variables are confirmed using panel ARDL and robust least squares techniques. The results … Show more

“…Likewise, x it is recognized as nominated independent variable and ϵ it specifies models' error term. Analytically, this empirical study has designated the Panel Data Static and Dynamic models that was formerly implemented by Ghani et al, 2023, Zandi et al, 2022, Chakrabarti and Chakrabarti, 2019Mubeen et al, 2022;Tahsin, 2022.…”

“…Additionally, this investigation also has executed diagnostic tests to measure the fitness of the models. The Pearson Correlation test is used to measure the statistical relationship among all the selected variables of this investigation (Abdul Chakrabarti and Chakrabarti, 2019;Abdul Hadi et al, 2015;Tahsin, 2022;Yuang and Zhang, 2022;Abubakar and Abdullahi, 2022;Nwaobia et al, 2022). Remarkably, the test of Pearson Correlation explains that at which level significant relationship exists among the studied variables (Abdul Benesty et al, 2009).…”
