The Effects of Local Anesthetics on Bile Flow, Potassium Equilibrium and Oxygen Consumption in the Perfused Rat Liver

Abstract: Amide local anesthetics mainly undergo hepatic metabolism. Specific applications, such as catheter application for long-term pain therapy, may result in large plasma concentrations.
