Abstract:Airborne magnetic and radiometric data set over part of Nasarawa, North central Nigeria have been enhanced and interpreted qualitatively. Attributes maps (first and second vertical derivative; and analytic signal maps) from the total magnetic intensity map (TMI) were used to delineate near-surface structures hosting sedimentary rocks forming minerals and differentiate regions based on amplitude responses. The structure trends NE-SW, NW-SE, E-W and N-S directions and the area is predominantly underlain by basem… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
