The effects of naloxone on the cardiovascular and respiratory effects of centrally administered corticotrophin releasing factor in conscious rabbits

Abstract: 1 The effects of intracerebroventricular (i.c.v.) and intracisternal (i.c.) administration of corticotrophin releasing factor (CRF) (0.5 nmol kg-1) were examined in conscious rabbits. The effect of opioid receptor antagonism was examined to determine whether the responses to CRF were mediated by endogenous opioid peptides. 2 After i.c.v.
