The Effects of Rehabilitation Hospital Nurses' Professional Autonomy and Self-Efficacy on Professional Self-Concept

Abstract: The aim of this descriptive correlation research was determine the factors affecting the professional self-concept of nurses working at rehabilitation hospitals. The data were collected from 192 nurses working at three rehabilitation hospitals with less than 300 beds in B City and at two in D City from May 1 to 30, 2015, and then analyzed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program. “…This is how it can be understood that the dynamic interaction of dimensions is essential to take in the impact that working with trauma has on the professionals of mental health. Moreover, the Compassion Satisfaction dimension explained the 15.2 % of the variance; while Burnout, the 29.3 %; and the Compassion Fatigue, the 36.3 %, data resembling the original version and the adaptations made in other countries (Dinç & Ekinci, 2019;Fukumori et al, 2016;Galiana et al, 2017;Kim & Choi, 2019;Morante Baradero et al, 2005;Shen et al, 2015;Stamm, 2005).
