Thyme is species of aromatic, perennial flowering herb of family Lamiaceae, having about 350 species which are naturally grown in Mediterranean region (Dauqan & Abdullah, 2017). Environmental conditions play a significant role in cultivation of medicinal plants having biologically active ingredients (Rahmat & Kang, 2019). Global cultivation of thyme in various states of North Eastern US was done for the production of volatile oils and also for seasoning purpose.
