The Efficacy Assessment and Manufacture of Kitchen Garden Soil Using Livestock Manure for an Urban Agriculture

Abstract: In this study, manufacture of kitchen garden soil and its application on the growth of Lettuce has been performed. The optimal ratio of various raw materials for pH, total nitrogen, phosphate, cations, and salt content was found to be 49 : 35 : 10 : 5 : 1(w/w) in peatmoss, livestock manure, cocopeat, zeolite, and microbial fertilizer, respectively.
