“…The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) is one of the most frequently utilized instruments in the diagnostic of depression; it includes 21 items, rated according to the presence and severity of the symptoms, therefore reflecting four intensity levels -0, 1, 2, 3 -zero being the absence of depressive symptoms (Beck, Ward & Mendelson, 1961).
