“…In multiple studies, CSR, the reading strategy–based instructional model implemented in the current study, has resulted in reading comprehension gains for students with learning disabilities, students with reading difficulties, and English learners, as well as for average‐ and high‐achieving students, in upper elementary and middle school classrooms (Boardman, Klingner, Buckley, Annamma, & Lasser, ; Klingner et al., ; Klingner, Vaughn, Arguelles, Hughes, & Ahwee, ; Vaughn et al., ).
