The Electrical Conductance of Solutions of Cobalt (II) Nitrate Hexahydrate in Acetophenone at 25°C

Abstract

The conductance of cobalt (II) nitrate hexahydrate in acetophenone at 25°C has been measured from saturation (slightly above 0.03 molal) down to 0.0001 molal. Above 0.001 molal, the molal conductance is quite constant, and the salt appears to be largely (95 per cent or more) undissociated.
