The Energy/Frequency Convexity Rule: Modeling and Experimental Validation on Mobile Devices

Abstract: International audienceThis paper provides both theoretical and experimental evidence for the existence of an Energy/Frequency Convexity Rule, which relates energy consumption and CPU frequency on mobile devices.
