The Epidemiology of Osteoporosis

Abstract: SUMMARYBackground: Osteoporosis is a widespread disease of the skeleton that becomes more common with advancing age. Its prevalence is still inadequately documented. The goal of this study is to determine how common osteoporosis is in Germany.
